Pitstop in Squamish, and a fresh breath of air!

If you’ve done the drive from Seattle to Whistler as many times as i have you’ll know that a quick stop in Squamish before the final stretch can be quite refreshing. Last minute gas stop, potty break and for those late nighters or narcoleptics a quick coffee stop. Lucky for you and I, we no longer have to make that last stop at the Starbucks or Tim Horton’s. Onatah Coffee is a rad little spot, something i could imagine finding in Seattle or the SW district of Portland. Local Andrea Graham and her mom Helen opened the spot off of Tantalus Rd and have done an excellent job of making it feel cozy. There is a great energy and vibe about the place as young mothers, insatiable adventures and creative minds fill the spot.

Known for their great in-house brewed, organic blend coffee and these incredible Rosemary, Raspberry Scones! Trust me, i’ve tried it first hand! So fresh and so yummy! They make most of their pastries there on site and even have a selection of small eats like wraps and sandwiches. Swing on by to try one of the scones and drop a “hallo” to Helen! It’s super easy to find. Off of Garibaldi, you know the 4-way where there is a Chevron and 7-11 opposite the Husky and Shady Tree? On the backside of The Burrow (great tapas, drinks, good scene).
